You have ended a very successful first year with your new company or organization. You are enthusiastic about the progress you made and the progress opportunities that are ahead. As your first year draws to a close you are busily preparing for the annual retreat with the management team and the CEO.
While there will be many reporting opportunities for every manager and some other key constituents the CEO has given you an opportunity to present and has asked you to identify what priorities you would like to establish given the time youll be allotted in this annual meeting. You informed the CEO that you want to address the very important topic of creating lasting change in the organization. You want to make sure that change becomes habituated and that there is recognition that this wasnt just a year of novel activities that were perhaps interesting and engaging.
You want to reinforce the notion that there truly is a change in how we do business here and that everyone involved needs to embrace this new day and recognize that the habit of change is not going away.
To that end, for this submission you are to write an essay, which will outline the major points you intend to make in this presentation. You know that the presentation will be somewhat of a keynote speech as you address your team and you want to make sure that youre organized and ready to make a significant impact as this key moment in your tenure as an executive level leader in the organization. Your assignment should include the following:
Component 1: Introduction and a description for how you would introduce the topic of making consistent or habituating change.
Component 2: Offer and analysis with three (3) to four (4) major points which identifies the steps that are necessary to make change a more consistent and predictable aspect of the organization.
Component 3: Identify how you would conclude these comments in a way that would communicate to the audience your level of seriousness regarding the need to make change an indispensable aspect of this organization.
Please ensure that you make specific references to the readings provided as well as the utilization of at least two outside references, which can be used to support your ideas presented. The essay should be 2000-2250 words and should include at least five (5) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
